About Me

Certified HubSpot CMS developer and designer with 8 years platform experience

I work with marketing teams who have committed to HubSpot and want their website to make full use of it. That means a custom HubSpot CMS build with drag and drop templates and modules your team can actually use, connected properly to the CRM and marketing tools rather than bolted on afterward. I lead the design and development end to end, so there is one accountable person from first call to launch. Every project is a fixed fee agreed upfront, with revision rounds and 30 days of post-launch support included.

8 Years Building Websites on HubSpot CMS

HubSpot website developer for B2B companies and agencies

HubSpot CMS rewards being built properly. Done well, your marketing team publishes pages, runs campaigns and edits content without ever opening a support ticket. Done badly, every change comes back to a developer. I build custom themes and drag and drop modules designed around how your team actually works, integrated with the CRM and marketing tools you are already paying for. I also work as a white label HubSpot developer for agencies who need CMS capability they do not have in-house.

My HubSpot Design Process

Here's the process which I follow when designing brand new HubSpot websites or working on re-design projects

01. Discovery Call

We start with a call to understand the business, the audience, and what the website actually needs to achieve. I ask how you sell, who you sell to, what is working on your current site and what is not. Everything that follows is shaped by that conversation.

02. Fixed Price Proposal

I turn the discovery call into a written proposal covering objectives, sitemap, page count, deliverables, timeline and the fixed price. That price does not move unless you change the scope, and payments are tied to milestones rather than hours. Once you approve it, you know exactly what the project will cost before any work begins.

03. Design Concept

I design in Figma, starting with the homepage so we agree the visual direction before the rest follows. You see real layouts rather than moodboards: typography, color, spacing, components and how pages behave. Three revision rounds are included, and nothing moves into build until you have signed off the designs.

04. HubSpot CMS Build

With designs approved I build your custom HubSpot theme: templates, drag-and-drop modules, HubDB where dynamic content is needed, and forms and CTAs connected to the CRM. The build covers responsive behavior across devices, page speed, technical SEO and accessibility, with every module set up so your marketing team can publish pages without a developer.

Testing & Launch

Before launch I test across browsers and devices, check page speed and accessibility, and set up redirects so existing search rankings carry across. You get a CMS walkthrough and handover documentation, then we go live on an agreed date.

05. Ongoing Support

Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support as standard, covering fixes and adjustments once the site is live. After that, most clients continue on a monthly care plan for updates, new pages and improvements, with 30 days notice to cancel at any time.

Redesign Before & After

A fresh, modern design not only reflects your brand’s commitment to innovation but also enhances user experience, ensuring your site is accessible, engaging, and aligned with the latest user expectations. Keeping up with design trends helps your site perform better in search engines, adapt to new technologies, and meet the ever-changing standards of web functionality.

Genuine client reviews

Has been a pleasure working with Mike. He did a fantastic job combining high-quality design with strong front end development (which I understand is rare), and has nicely balanced meeting our (detailed and frequent) requests with ideas of his own. Would strongly recommend him to anyone wanting to work with him.

Mike was a pleasure to work with and did an exceptional job on our entire redesign. I’d highly recommend him to anybody who would like a modern and aesthetically pleasing website.

Andrew James

Mike was extremely creative and did a very thorough job of understanding our product and market before building a website that matched our needs and mission. He was very flexible with changes that came up throughout the process and does an awesome job of creating web animations (pulsing nodes, moving components, etc.) that added vibrancy to the website. All in all, very creative, patient, and great execution!

Mike is a talented developer and designer that went above and beyond for our recent website project. He’s very easy to work with and always came up with solutions – nothing was too hard for him. I can’t recommend him enough!

Margo Camus

Mike did a great job on our HubSpot site. He worked to a tight schedule, interpreted the design brief we gave him really well and came up with a compelling design. He then delivered the finished product to schedule, working quickly to make any requested amends and add/change functionality. Really impressive work and Mike would certainly be my first choice for any similar work in the future.

It was a pleasure to work with Mike on our music conference website. He went beyond what we needed him to do in order to create a beautiful new website which meets all our needs. We would definitely work with him on future projects.

I have worked with many developers and hands down the best! Quality of work is impeccable, everything went smooth and was easy to communicate with. I have project #2 ready for him to start.

Violeta

Mike delivered exceptionally high-quality work. The design conveys the brand message and there were very few errors in the final platform. Despite several challenges outside their control, Mike was able to deliver within the condensed timeline.

    FAQ

Most common questions my clients ask

What HubSpot services do you offer?

Everything Content Hub-related. From a full website build to ongoing support once the site is live. That covers new website design and development, redesigns of existing sites, Figma to HubSpot builds, migrations from platforms like Wix, and new features added to an existing site. I also work as a white label HubSpot developer for agencies. After launch, I handle maintenance, plugin and core updates, server migrations, security and accessibility, either on a monthly plan or as needed.

How long does a HubSpot website project take?

Most projects run 6 to 12 weeks from kickoff to launch. A focused build with a defined page count sits at the shorter end; a migration with multiple stakeholders and content restructuring sits at the longer end. You get a timeline with milestone dates in the proposal, and payments are tied to those milestones rather than to hours worked.

Why work with an independent consultant instead of an agency?

With an agency you get a team, and usually an account manager between you and the people doing the work. With me, the person you speak with on the first call is the person designing your site and directing the build. Specialist developers work under me on delivery, so capacity is not a constraint, but accountability never moves. Fewer handoffs, faster decisions, and no layer of project management in your budget.

What happens if I need changes after launch?

Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support as standard, covering fixes and adjustments after go-live. Beyond that, most clients continue on a monthly support plan, or buy prepaid blocks of hours to use as they need them. There is no obligation either way, and no lock-in.

Will my team be able to update the site ourselves?

Yes, and this is a large part of what you are paying for. I build custom HubSpot themes with drag-and-drop modules designed around how your marketing team actually works, so they can publish pages, launch campaigns and edit content without opening a support ticket. Every project ends with a training session and handover documentation.

Can you migrate our existing site to HubSpot?

Yes. Migrations from WordPress and other platforms are a regular part of the work. The priority is protecting what you already have: URL structure, redirects, and existing search rankings are planned before anything moves, so traffic does not fall off after launch.

What do you need from us to get started?

Less than you might expect. A discovery call to understand the business and the goals, access to your HubSpot portal, your brand assets, and a named decision-maker who can approve designs. Copy is usually supplied by you, though content structuring guidance is included and full copywriting support is available on larger projects.

How do we communicate during the project?

Async by default, using a shared project board where every task, question and approval is written down and visible. Scheduled calls at key milestones, and I aim to respond to messages the same working day. This is deliberate: documented communication is what keeps fixed-fee projects on scope and on schedule, and it means nothing important lives only in someone’s memory of a call.
